Begin/End - Oval House Theatre
Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle
HALF Moon theatre company is presenting David Lane’s Begin/End at the Oval House Theatre – from March 24 to March 27, 2010.
Lili pounds out her anger and uncertainty, one length at a time, in the swimming pool. Yaz won’t become what others want and aspires to a life elsewhere.
The birth of their friendship sparks two inseparable years of adventure; a gang of two, they breathe freedom, possibility and ambition.
But something unspoken grows between them. Lili develops feelings that push the boundaries of their friendship too far. It is the beginning and the end of everything.
Begin/End is a multimedia performance featuring VJing and a contemporary soundtrack by one of Britain’s freshest new composers.
The production is directed by Angela Michaels, Half Moon Associate Director, whose recent credits include Locked In and We Are Shadows (Half Moon) and The Next Big Thing (The Albany).
Tickets: £12, £6 concessions.
Times: Wednesday to Saturday at 7:45pm, Thursday matinee at 4:30pm.
NB: Each show is followed by an interactive Q&A with the cast.
