Breakfast at Tiffany's to complete run as scheduled

BREAKFAST at Tiffany’s, starring Anna Friel as Holly Golightly and Joseph Cross as William ‘Fred’ Parsons, will complete its run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket as scheduled on January 9, 2010.
The West End production has now recouped its costs, having taken over £3 million at the box office, and there are plans for future productions in New York and Japan.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is set in 1943 in New York City, where William ‘Fred’ Parsons, a young writer from Louisiana, meets Miss Holly Golightly, a charming, vivacious and utterly elusive good-time girl.
Everyone falls in love with Holly, including William – but he is poor, and Holly needs rich. Will she marry Rusty, the playboy millionaire? Or José, the future president of Brazil? As war rages in Europe, Holly begins to fall in love with William – and then her past catches up with her…
The cast also includes Suzanne Bertish (Madame Spanella), James Bradshaw (Rusty Trawler), Gwendoline Christie (Mag Wildwood), Paul Courtenay Hyu (Ensemble), Dermot Crowley (Joe Bell), Felix D’Alviella (Jose Ybarra-Jaegar), James Dreyfus (O J Berman), Nicholas Goh (Mr Yunioshi), Annie Hemingway (Ensemble), Sam Hoare (Ensemble), Elizabeth Crarer (Middy Munson), David Phelan (Sid Arbuck) and John Ramm (Doc Golightly).
Samuel Adamson’s new stage adaptation of Truman Capote’s classic novella opened on September 9, 2009. Directed by Sean Mathias, it has set and costume designs by Anthony Ward, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Paul Groothuis, choreography by Wayne McGregor and original music composed and arranged by Grant Olding.
