Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle
OutFox Productions is presenting the UK premiere of Carbon Dating, by Ron Elisha (Man in the Middle, Einstein), at the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre, where it runs from Tuesday, November 13 to Saturday, December 1, 2012.
How many first dates does it take to find The One? Are there any good ones left? Or are they all just one banger short of a barbie?
First dates come in many shapes and sizes; the good, the bad and the downright disastrous. But whatever happens there’s always a tale to tell.
Audiences are invited to join OutFox as they matchmake 12 individuals just looking for love – or at least someone with the same net worth – and discover the hilarious, excruciating and thought provoking consequences when that all important first impression on the hunt for The One is fudged.
The cast includes Rebecca Dunn, Laura Evelyn, Caroline George, Jennie Gruner, Lauran Harvey, Noah James, Davey Kelleher, Igor Medeiros, Dominic Morgan and Calum Mould.
Carbon Dating is produced by Kirsty Fox, one of the founders of award-winning Manchester based Organised Chaos Productions, and directed by John Fricker, best known as an actor and for the role of Marteetee in Your Highness.
Carbon Dating is the follow up show to OutFox Productions debut Spring Awakening.
Carbon Dating contains some strong language and descriptions of a sexual nature and therefore, is suitable for ages 14+.
