Casting announced for the Lyric Hammersmith's 10th anniversary pantomime Dick Whittington

FULL casting has been announced for Dick Whittington, the Lyric Hammersmith’s 10th anniversary pantomime, which runs from Saturday, November 17, 2018 to Sunday, January 6, 2019.

Written by Jude Christian and Cariad Lloyd and directed by Jude Christian, it will be getting the full Lyric treatment so audiences can expect the usual mix of live music, crazy characters, awesome adventure, singing, dancing, villainous baddies and heroic goodies with a little bit of feline flavour thrown in for good measure.

The full cast of Dick Whittington includes: Margaret Cabourn-Smith (as Mayor Pigeon), Hollie Edwin (Alice Fitzwarren), Jodie Jacobs (Bow Belles), Keziah Joseph (Tom Cat), Luke Latchman (Dick Whittington), Carl Mullaney (Sarah Fitzwarren) and Sarah-Louise Young (Queen Rat).

They are joined by an ensemble of young performers, as part of the Lyric Hammersmith’s commitment to nurturing young talent: Amelia Gregorian, Tiwalade Ibirogba-Olulode, Helena Morais, James Roberts and Stevie Ruffs.

There will be a 10 Year Celebratory Event on Friday, December 7, 2018, when audiences will watch a very special performance of Dick Whittington full of guest appearances and a look back on 10 years of pantomime at the Lyric. Tickets for this event are from £30, which includes a special winter cocktail, pre-show refreshments and a festive programme.

Composed and arranged by Corin Buckeridge, Dick Whittington will be designed by Jean Chan, with lighting by Tim Deiling, sound by Ben and Max Ringham, choreography by Lainie Baird, musical direction by Oli Jackson and casting by Will Burton CDG.
