ON MONDAY, February 9, 2009 (at 7pm), many famous faces will be attending the Chickenshed Cabaret at London’s Hard Rock Cafe.

They include Bob Hoskins, Emma Bunton, Michelle Collins, Neil (Foxy) Fox, Cheryl Fergison and Linda Henry (EastEnders‘ Heather and Shirley), Stephen Mangan (Green Wing, The Norman Conquests) and another EastEnders‘ regular, Jo Joyner (Tania Branning).

The Hard Rock Cafe has been a huge supporter of Chickenshed since hosting the first of many cabaret evenings in 1990 and, over the past 18 years, has raised well in excess of £150,000. As the very heart of live music since 1971, it has also proved to be a perfect venue for these ‘sizzling Chickenshed cabarets’.

To show its continued support, the Hard Rock Cafe will not only be providing the venue but will be welcoming guests with bags of enthusiasm, a champagne reception, its legendary world class food and limitless beer and wine.

An auction conducted by a surprise celebrity auctioneer will include ‘money can’t buy’ lots of VIP tickets for Hard Rock Calling with backstage passes and free food and wine, memorabilia from Chickenshed supporter Kylie Minogue and surprise gifts from the EastEnders guests.

All money raised will help Chickenshed continue with its passionate aim to make pioneering, inclusive, beautiful theatre using a creative process that means that anyone is welcome and everyone is valued.

Speaking about the show, Morag Ranford, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager Europe for Hard Rock International said:

“Chickenshed has been a long standing partner of Hard Rock and we are delighted to have the opportunity to host these spectacular shows again and to maintain our established links with this great charity. We hope this relationship continues for many years to come and are looking forward to Monday 9th February.”

The Attraction is Chickenshed’s next production at the Rayne Theatre.
