Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle

CINDERELLA and the Beanstalk is returning to Theatre503 this December. A new production directed by Carla Kingham, it runs from December 5, 2018 to January 5, 2019.

Written by acclaimed comedy trio The Sleeping Trees, Cinderella and the Beanstalk is an hilarious mega-mix pantomime medley featuring over 60 fairytale characters from more than a dozen favourite stories colliding in unexpected ways.

Lisa Spirling, Artistic Director, Theatre503 said: “After four years of performing in their hugely popular Christmas shows at Theatre503, it is fantastic to support The Sleeping Trees in the next stage of their development, as they take time off the stage and focus on themselves as writers. Their brilliant words, wit and wonder will be brought to life by a fresh, new cast. This show really hits every festive spot – full of joy, characters we all know and love, and uncontrollable laughs for literally all ages, families, and friends.”

Follow Cinderella on a perilous adventure as the scheming Rumpelstiltskin blackmails the would-be princess into retrieving the coveted Golden Eggs from the top of The Beanstalk. She must complete her quest to recover her glass slipper, but Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother and Jack’s pregnant cow are all doing their best to get in the way, so her mission might not be quite as easy as she thought.
