Colm Wilkinson to perform one-off concert at Lyceum (2013)

COLM Wilkinson, the original Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, is to make a keenly anticipated return to the West End for a one-off concert performance at the Lyceum Theatre this June.
The show – titled Bring Him Home – takes place on June 24, 2013 and runs as part of Wilkinson’s Broadway and Beyond tour which kicks off in Cork, Ireland on June 6.
A statement on the tour reveals: “Broadway and Beyond gives fans old and new the opportunity to see and hear a more intimate and personal side of this phenomenal performer.”
The two-hour concert will include Music of the night, Some Enchanted Evening, Somewhere and his signature song, Bring Him Home.
Wilkinson will also relate stories from his career and reinterpret classic songs such as Danny Boy and Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
Wilkinson was recently seen in the Oscar-winning Les Miserables sharing scenes with Hugh Jackman, who plays Jean Valjean in the film.
