Daniel Evans' production of James Graham's Quiz transfers to the West End

FOLLOWING a critically acclaimed run at Chichester Festival Theatre, James Graham’s new play Quiz is transferring to the West End – to the Noël Coward Theatre, where it runs from March 31 to June 16, 2018.

Quiz is described as a provocative re-examination of the conviction of Charles Ingram, ‘the coughing Major’, for cheating, following his appearance on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Directed by Chichester Festival Theatre Artistc Director Daniel Evans, the play stars Gavin Spokes as Charles Ingram, Stephanie Street as his wife Diana Ingram and Keir Charles as host Chris Tarrant.

Writer James Graham’s credits include Labour of Love, which continues at the Noël Coward Theatre until December 2, Ink, currently playing at the Duke of York’s Theatre, The Vote (Donmar Warehouse), the musical Finding Neverland (Broadway), Privacy (Donmar Warehouse/New York) and the Olivier Award-nominated This House (National Theatre/West End).

Also at the Noël Coward Theatre: the West End transfer of Bob Dylan’s and Conor McPherson’s Girl from the North Country (December 29, 2017 to March 24, 2018) and the Michael Grandage Season, which includes John Logan’s Red, starring Alfred Molina, and Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore, starring Poldark‘s Aidan Turner.
