Previously Posted: Following an extraordinary and emotional farewell to many of the cast on Saturday night (January 26, 2019), culminating in a 15-minute standing ovation and a queue at the stage door stretching the full length of Archer Street, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie welcomes new cast members for 2019.

Layton Williams takes over the title role of Jamie New and is joined by Shane Richie as Hugo/Loco Channelle, Hayley Tamaddon as Miss Hedge, Sejal Keshwala as Ray and Sabrina Sandhu as Pritti Pasha.

Rebecca McKinnis continues in the role as Jamie’s Mum, Margaret.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, which recently celebrated its 500th performance in the West End, also announced a UK Tour of the show commencing in 2020, with venues and dates to be announced in due course.

Following the live cinema screening of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in July 2018 into over 500 cinemas, encore screenings will take place on Tuesday, January 29 across the UK providing a final chance to see John McCrea as Jamie New.

The full West End cast from January 28, 2019 also includes Marlon G Day (as Dad), Momar Diagne, Zahra Jones (Becca), Luke Latchman (Sayid), Rachel Price (Swing), Biancha Szynal (Swing), Adam Taylor (Swing), Ziggy Tyler Taylor (Levi), Alex Anstey (Laika Virgin), Luke Baker (Dean Paxton), Courtney Bowman (Fatimah), Marvyn Charles (Swing), James Gillan (Tray Sophisticay), Ryan Hughes (Mickey), Daniel Jacob (Sandra Bollock), Melissa Jacques, Emily Kenwright (Vicki), Jordan Laviniere (Cy) and Harriet Payne (Bex).

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. Jamie is going to be a sensation. Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is currently booking at the Apollo Theatre until September 28, 2019.
