KENMAC is presenting I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change at Riverside Studios – from October 30 to November 4, 2012.
The second-longest running musical Off Broadway, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is described as a high octane comedy with four performers on a journey through romance – from Adam and Eve to first dates, bad dates, sex, weddings, children and aging.
This episodic musical sees the performers in a multitude of roles as they juggle the highs, lows and farce of relationships and try to find someone to love, someone they think is perfect, so that they can spend the rest of their lives trying to change them.
Juan Mirelles directs a cast that comprises Nancy Hill, Andry Irvine, Callum McArdle and Kathleen Mcnamara.
I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, which has a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts, premiered at the off-Broadway Westside Theatre in August 1996 and ran for 5000 performances, making it the second-longest running Off Broadway musical.
