Joseph extends booking period

SIR ANDREW Lloyd Webber’s new production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which opened at the Adelphi Theatre on July 17, 2007, has once again extended its booking period – this time by three months – until January 10, 2009.

And Lee Mead, popular winner of the BBC reality show Any Dream Will Do will continue in the role of Joseph. However, he will be on holiday from May 5 to May 10 when Lewis Bradley, second runner-up in the competition, will take over the role.

Mead is also on holiday from July 28 to August 5 although a replacement for these dates has yet to be confirmed.

The current cast also includes Jenna Lee-James as the Narrator, Dean Collinson as Pharaoh and Stephen Tate as Jacob/Potiphar/Guru.
