Joseph - Lewis Bradley is Mead's holiday relief

Lewis Bradley

Story by Lizzie Guilfoyle

LEWIS Bradley, second runner-up in BBC’s hunt for Joseph, Any Dream Will Do, will take over the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat while the reality show’s winner Lee Mead is on holiday.

Bradley will appear at the Adelphi Theatre on three separate occasions – from January 14 to January 26; from March 10 to March 15; and from May 5 to May 10, 2008. Mead is also on holiday from July 28 to August 5 although a replacement for these dates has yet to be confirmed.

As well as Bradley, another four Any Dream Will Do contestants are appearing in West End or touring productions. In December 2007, Daniel Boys took over the role of Princeton/Rod in the offbeat musical Avenue Q which is currently booking until September 27, 2008, at the Noel Coward Theatre; and Ben Ellis is currently playing Link Larkin in the Broadway transfer of Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

Meanwhile, Craig Chalmers and Chris Barton are in the touring production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – as Joseph and youngest brother Benjamin respectively.
