LEGALLY Blonde The Musical has once again extended its booking period at the Savoy Theatre, this time until October 29, 2011.

Previously Posted: On June 16, 2010, Richard Fleeshman will join Sheridan Smith (as Elle Woods), Jill Halfpenny (Paulette), Peter Davison (Professor Callahan) and Alex Gaumond (Emmett) in the cast of Legally Blonde, which is currently booking at the Savoy Theatre until February, 20, 2011.

Fleeshman takes over the role of Warner Huntington III from Duncan James whose final performance will be June 14.

Fleeshman is best known on television for his roles in Coronation Street in which he played Craig Harris for four years and, more recently, Debbie Horsefield’s All the Small Things for the BBC.

As a musician, he was the youngest contestant to win ITV’s Stars in Their Eyes Celebrity Special. Later, in 2006, he won ITV’s Soapstar Superstar and in 2008, he accompanied Elton John on his Summer Stadium and Red Piano tours. His album Neon was released in 2007 followed by the singles Coming Down, Hold Me Close, Back Here and Can You Hear Me?

In Legally Blonde, college sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods doesn’t take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend Warner dumps her for someone serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law! Along the way, she proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

From June 16 the cast will also include Emma Bateman, Dan Burton, Darren Carnall, Chris Ellis-Stanton, Nadine Higgin, Ibinabo Jack, Caroline Keiff, Amy Lennox, Suzie McAdam, Andy Mace, Susan McFadden, Matthew McKenna, Sorelle Marsh, Aoife Mulholland, Sean Mulligan, Roxanne Palmer, Sergio Priftis, Tamara Wall and Ed White.

Swings will be Fabian Aloise, Francis Haugen, Jane McMurtrie, Sherrie Pennington and Lucy Miller.
