LEICESTER Square Theatre has announced its theatre programme for August 2012:

MAIN HOUSE

Soldier, presented by Pineapple Arts – Wednesday, August 8 at 4.30pm. Tickets: £15.

Students from Pineapple Arts present a moving family show exploring love, sacrifice and redemption.

LOUNGE

The Reunion – Sunday, August 5 at 8pm. Tickets: £15.

Ashleigh Gray, Sarah Earnshaw, Stevie Webb and Tori Allen-Martin, stars of After the Turn, the new pop-rock musical that achieved a successful and exciting run at the Courtyard Theatre in Hoxton earlier this year, are back together for one night only.

Two Sisters and a Piano – Monday, August 20 to Saturday, August 25 at 9pm. Tickets: £10.

Set in Cuba in 1991, Two Sisters and a Piano is the story of two sisters placed under house arrest, and the daily battle to keep their sanity and still believe in the world beyond their four walls.

Passion inflitrates politics when the lieutenant assigned to their case becomes infatuated with Maria Cella. What will this have to say for the sisters’ impending future?

Mickey & Judy – Sunday, August 26 at 8pm. Tickets: £10 – £8.

Direct from his UK debut at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Michael Hughes presents his smash hit one-man musical memoir, the show that chronicles Hughes’ childhood obsession with musicals and his journey from psychiatric ward to off-Broadway.
