OUR Own little Piece of Shit Paradise is being presented as part of FiRST BiTES, Oval House Theatre’s highly successful series which shares new work in-development with audiences, thereby giving them the chance to be a part of the creative process,
An Oval House Theatre Elsewhere production at the Octagon Hall, it runs from Saturday, October 17 to Saturday, October 24, 2009.
Our Own little Piece of Shit Paradise is a devised response to Shooting Rats and is directed by Stef O’Driscoll, whose production of Rebecca Prichard’s acclaimed play about London girl gangs, Yard Gal, won the Fringe Report ‘Best Production’ award 2008.
Shooting Rats runs at the Octagon Hall from October 6 to October 24, 2009.

Our Own little Piece of Shit Paradise, a collection of stories about expectations, aspirations and love, is performed by Monsay Whitney (Yard Gal), an up and coming young actress who debuts on TV’s Holby City later this year; and graduates of Oval House Theatre’s youth arts theatre company, Ben Cawley, Raphael Sowole and Natasha Sparkes.
Our Own little Piece of Shit Paradise is devised by Ben Cawley, Bradley Peter, Fabrisse Pikondo, Raphael Sowole, Natasha Sparkes and Monsay Whitney.
Dates and Times: Saturday, October 17 and Saturday, October 24 at 5pm; tickets £4 (including a post-show discussion with the creative team). Tuesday, October 20 to Friday, October 23 at 9pm: FREE with same day ticket for Shooting Rats.
