Pam Ann - Flying High - Vaudeville Theatre
Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle
LIVE Nation is presenting Pam Ann – Flying High at the Vaudeville Theatre – from Wednesday, September 29 to Sunday, October 10, 2010.
Pam is the comic creation of Australian comedian Caroline Reid, who portrays the 1960’s clad air-hostess as a mixture of comedy, camp and glamour.
A huge hit in her native Australia, Pam Ann has gone on to become a truly global phenomenon. She supported Cher on a major arena tour of the UK (including Wembley); and has crewed for Sir Elton John on his private jet whilst entertaining his star-studded passengers.
She has also performed at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and sold out several seasons at The Public Theatre in New York. Her work in the UK includes Pam Ann, Terror at 41,000 Ft; two appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; Pam Ann’s Hammersmith Layover (Hammersmith Apollo), and dates at the Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium. She recently played her first ever shows in Iceland and Vienna.
On television, she has appeared in Britain’s Next Top Model and Project Catwalk.
