Polly Stenham talks about her new play, Hotel
ON Wednesday, June 25, Polly Stenham will be at the National Theatre chatting to Emma Freud about her new play, Hotel, which is currently playing in The Shed until August 2, 2014.
Secluded and isolated, it’s the perfect desert island escape. Just what Robert and the family need. But beyond the white sand and beautiful sunsets, dark clouds gather. A storm is coming.
A tropical thriller, where nothing is quite what it seems, Hotel explores the cost of integrity.
Polly Stenham’s plays for the Royal Court include No Quarter, Tusk Tusk and That Face, which won the 2007 Evening Standard Award for Best New Play and the 2008 Critics’ Circle Most Promising Playwright Award, and subsequently transferred to the West End.
Her screenplays include the forthcoming Tusk and I Walk With The Dead; and Foxtrot for Sky Arts Playhouse Presents.
Tickets: £4/£3 – available online at www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/discover/platforms/polly-stenham-on-hotel.
