Snow White, a pop up panto at the Old Vic
Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle
OLD VIC New Voices are presenting a one-off performance of Snow White at the Old Vic – on Saturday, December 15, 2012.
Combining poisoned apples and Wicked Queens with X-Factor and the 2012 Olympics, this brand new version of Snow White will, according to press material, get you warmed up for Christmas.
Snow White’s voice is as pure as silk, as soft as snow and as beautiful as Beyoncé, but when X-Factor wannabe the Wicked Queen loses her status as the greatest singer in the land, the unsuspecting Princess must face the wrath of her step-mum’s green eyed monster.
Fighting against “gangsta” Huntsmen and hungry wolves, Snow White heads through the forest in search of a loving home with the help of Robin Hood and The Seven Dwarves..
Snow White is suitable for family audiences with school-aged children (suggested 5+).
Tickets: £5 – available from the box office in person, on 0844 871 7628 or online at bookings.oldvictheatre.com/.
