JAZZ at Chickenshed returns on Sunday, June 23, 2019, with Stringles Swings! with Julian Marc Stringle.

Renowned Clarinet Maestro Julian Marc Stringle performs in concert with the astonishing young jazz Violin virtuoso Ben Holder.

The musical chemistry between Julian Marc Stringle and Ben Holder is magical, conjuring up memories of the exciting sessions between Clarinet luminaries Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw with Violin virtuosi Stéphane Grappelli, Joe Venuti and Stuff Smith.

Be prepared for a dazzling display of artistry from Stringle and Holder with an incomparable swing ensemble featuring Canadian guitar star Dominic Ashworth, Ronnie Scott bass ace Andy Cleyndert and the phenomenal Rod Brown completing the line-up on drums.
