That Face - casting announced
CASTING has been announced for the first London revival of That Face, the debut play from award-winning playwright Polly Stenham, which runs at the Landor Theatre from November 14 (previews from November 12) to December 1, 2013.
The line up includes Caroline Wildi (as Martha), Rory Fleck Byrne (Henry), Samantha Hyam (Mia), Georgina Leonidas (Izzy), Tony Donnelly (Hugh) and Imogen Byron (Alice).
Caroline Wildi’s recent theatre credits include Paper Dolls (Tricycle Theatre), Noises Off (Old Vic) and Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo and Juliet (Royal Shakespeare Company). On screen, she has appeared as Pamela Gregson in Channel 4’s Brookside and in the film Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Rory Fleck Byrne’s theatre work includes The Lion in Winter (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Disco Pigs (Young Vic), Cause Celebre (Old Vic) and Antony and Cleopatra (Liverpool Playhouse).
Samantha Hyam’s stage credits include Tinned Goods (Tristan Bates Theatre), Juliet in Romeo and Juliet (Theatre Sotto Voce), Pilgrims (Etcetera Theatre) and The Dream Life of a Social Worker (Theatre503).
Although Georgina Leonidas is best known as Katie Bell, the friend and long time Quidditch teammate of Harry Potter in the Harry Potter series of films, she has also appeared on the big screen in the recent adaptation of the musical Nine. Her other credits include The Real Thing (West Yorkshire Playhouse) and New Tricks, Myths and Holby City (all for BBC TV).
Tony Donnelly’s stage credits include Little Boy Blue (Empty Stage Productions), Bed Before Yesterday (Limelight Productions) and A Case of Murder (Key Theatre).
Imogen Byron is best known as Holby City‘s Rachel Levy, a role she has played for four years. Her other television credits include That Mitchell and Webb Look, Cranford and Waking the Dead, all for the BBC. Her stage work includes Kitty Bennet in Pride and Prejudice (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Inherit the Wind (Old Vic).
That Face is a hard-hitting, intense and darkly comic exploration of children who become parents to their parents.
