THE London Folies, a ‘spectacular’ West End summer variety show, runs at Leicester Square Theatre for a strictly limited season – from August 6 (previews from August 4) to August 29, 2009.
The London Folies is 21st century variety burlesque, featuring James Devine, the world’s fastest tap dancer, Ivy Paige and Miss Polly Rae. Further international artists have yet to be announced.
The show also includes the sexy Folie Dancers and an incredible danger act – still to be announced and subject to health and safety clearance by Westminster Council.
The London Folies is the brainchild of American author, composer and lyricist Jonathan Brielle and Martin Witts, Artistic Director of Leicester Square Theatre. Together, they have formed a new alliance, Cross Atlantic Creative (CAC), which brings the best of US and UK premiere entertainment to stages across the world.
