The Rat Pack returns to the West End

TO CELEBRATE the imminent arrival in the West End of Frank, Sammy & Dean – The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas and Marilyn: Forever Blonde!, which runs at Leicester Square Theatre from October 20 to November 18, 2009, the two casts threw a special cocktail hour joint photocall at London’s Pigalle Club.

Previously Posted: The boys are back in town – at the Adelphi Theatre – with a new production of the Olivier Award-nominated Frank, Sammy & Dean – The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas, which runs from Wednesday, September 23 to Saturday, November 21, 2009.
It will be followed – from Tuesday, November 24, 2009 to Sunday, January 3, 2010 – by Christmas With The Rat Pack.
The new production, which recreates the glamorous shows that were held in the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas during the late 1950s and early 60s, celebrates the incredible singing talent of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin, who perform alongside the Berrelli Sisters.
It includes hits such as Witchcraft, The Lady is a Tramp, Mr Bojangles, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, That’s Amore, Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime, New York, New York, My Kinda Town, Fly Me to the Moon, Sway, Volare, Me And My Shadow, My Way, Memories Are Made Of This, plus many more.
It was at the Sands Hotel in 1960, during the filming of Oceans Eleven, that Sinatra, Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr, Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford performed together on stage for the first time. And from then on, they were known as The Rat Pack.
The Adelphi productions are presented by Paul Walden and Derek Nicol for Rat Pack Touring Ltd. Casting has yet to be announced.
