Trevor Nunn to direct the world stage premiere of Fatal Attraction

TREVOR Nunn will direct the world stage premiere of Fatal Attraction, which opens for a 15 week limited run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on March 25, 2014, following preview performances from March 8.
Tickets for this new adaptation by James Dearden, the writer of the 1987 original screen play, go on sale today (September 20, 2013).
This story of obsession and revenge explores how a chance meeting in a bar and a casual encounter quickly becomes a living nightmare for Dan Gallagher, a successful New York lawyer, and his young family.
After spending one weekend with the gorgeous Alex Forrest, he assumes he can just walk away, but Alex is a woman who refuses to be ignored. She pursues Dan and his family with terrifying consequences.

The roles of Dan Gallagher and Alex Forrest were played on screen by Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, with Anne Archer as Dan’s wife Beth.
Fatal Attraction is produced by Theatre Royal Haymarket Productions, Robert Fox and Patrick Ryecart.
