WICKED, the multi award-winning musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is now the West End’s 10th longest running show.

Currently in its 8th year at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, Wicked has now been seen by over 5.5 million people since its London premiere in September 2006 and played over 3000 performances.

Executive Producer, Michael McCabe, said: “We are extremely proud to be joining such legendary shows as The Mousetrap, Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera as one of the 10 longest running productions in the West End. It is an incredible new milestone for Wicked and we greatly appreciate the continuing support of theatregoers.”

The London production currently stars Willemijn Verkaik (as Elphaba), Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Jeremy Taylor (Fiyero), Sue Kelvin (Madame Morrible), Martyn Ellis (The Wizard), Paul Clarkson (Doctor Dillamond), Sam Lupton (Boq), Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose), Emma Hatton (Standby Elphaba) and Sophie Linder-Lee (Standby Glinda).

The cast is, however, subject to change from October 27, 2014.

While continuing its open-ended London run, a spectacular new production of Wicked is touring the UK until the summer of 2015. It has already broken countless box office records and won five star reviews across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Around the world, Wicked has been seen by 40 million people and has 9 productions running concurrently. The original Broadway production remains “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” (The New York Times) after a decade at the Gershwin Theatre.

Wicked has music and lyrics by multi GRAMMY® and Academy Award® winner Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman, musical staging by Wayne Cilento and is directed by two-time Tony Award® winner and Olivier Award nominee Joe Mantello.

Wicked, which is based on the acclaimed novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, has won over 90 international awards.

Wicked spearheads and supports a range of good causes born out of the themes of the award-winning musical. Discover more at
