Writers of Ghost Stories advertise the scariest job in London

Theatre news

THE writers of the hit West End play Ghost Stories, Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson, have launched applications for the scariest job in London – to spend a night at the Arts Theatre and record and explain any supernatural occurrences that might take place.

Applicants must be over 18 and brave. This job has been created due to unexplained ‘happenings’ in the theatre and the reluctance of any members of staff to be there overnight on Friday, June 13.

Candidates can apply at www.ghoststoriestheshow.co.uk/. The deadline for submissions is 6pm on Friday, May 23, 2014.

Speaking about this very special job opportunity, Jeremy and Andy said:

“Whilst neither of us believe in ghosts, there is no doubt that there have been a couple of very odd occurrences at the Arts Theatre. Whilst we are sure there is a perfectly rational explanation for them, neither of us would be prepared to spend the night alone in there”.

Ghost Stories continues at the Arts Theatre until Sunday, August 17, 2014.
