Q. Combining comedy with an element of heaviness - was
that part of the attraction for you?
A. Yeah that was definitely the most appealing part of
this role for me - that it was something I don't normally get
to play. I'm always kind of the loveable, kind, good-hearted guy
so to beat a person with a spatular was right up my alley. And
I'm prepared [waves a spachelor].

Q. If you could choose something
you identified with as far as your character is concerned, and
something that you didn't, what would that be?
A. Well I think that I probably identify with the thin
line of dual morality, of walking the fine line in life of being
a good guy and then when somebody cuts you off on the freeway
you want to just ram them off the side of the road. Sin [LaSalle]
gets to do that.
But the thing that I wouldn't identify with is actually the gun-totting,
the actual having the weapon and carrying it around on a daily
basis. I don't do that anymore! [laughs]
