Story by: Jack Foley
RUSSELL Crowe finally returns to the screen in another epic tale,
Twentieth Century Fox's Master & Commander: The Far Side of
the World.
Based on 'The Far Side of the World', the tenth novel in the
'Master & Commander' series, by Patrick O'Brian, the film
finds Russell's Captain Jack Aubrey setting sail for Cape Horn,
determined to intercept an American frigate, before it can wreak
havoc on the British whaling trade.

As always, he is accompanied by intelligence operative Stephen
Maturin (Paul Bettany, reuniting with the star after A
Beautiful Mind), and as always, Aubrey has no idea of what
his companion is up to.
The film is due for a UK release on November 28, but, in the
meantime, Twentieth Century Fox have unveiled an updated website,
and the chance to view the trailer.
Simply follow the link in the right-hand column for the chance
to find out more (and, by the way, the film looks awesome).
IndieLondon will, of course, be bringing you a full preview in
the very near future, as well as a round-up of the US critical
reaction, when it opens in the States...
