Story: Jack Foley
BLUR fans who want to be reminded of how great the band's Astoria
dates were should head to the band's website, www.blur.co.uk,
and log on to the members' area to view Blur's fourth show from
the five night residency.
The show, which will remain online for the next month, was shot
by three webcams; on stage, side-stage and front of house.
The footage also includes a live audio feed. The set list featured
a majority of the new album, Think
Tank, plus classic Blur cuts, including This Is A Low,
Beetlebum, Tender and Girls & Boys.
In what is proving to be a busy time for Blur fans, to mark the
release of the new album, Blur have teamed up with graffiti artist,
Banksy, and designer, Gravy, to create an extra-special collection
of clothing and accessories.
Master of mass disruption, Banksy, has created the logos for
all the products - from the bloodied scrawl of the Crazy Beat
motif to the underwater love of the Think Tank couple.
The items have been designed by Dan Lea, 21-year-old mastermind
behind the Gravy clothing label, an outfit with a distinctive
visual identity and a cult following.
Available to buy online at www.shop.blur.co.uk and at all live
dates are T-shirts for girls and boys, coats, sweatshirts, caps,
bags and badges.
The full list is as follows:
Urban jacket (Beige/Navy)
T-shirts (THINK TANK/Crazy Beat)
Sweatshirts (THINK TANK)
Canvas Bag (Pistol Pump logo)
Caps (Pistol Pump logo)
Badge pack
