Story: Jack Foley
FORMER Blur guitarist, Graham Coxon, is to play an intimate benefit
gig in North London on Sunday, January 9, to raise money for victims
of the Asian tsunami on Boxing Day.
Coxon will be joined by The Rifles and I Am Kloot, as well as
a DJ set from babybear, at the Colour club, 22 Inverness Street,
in Camden.
Doors will open at 8pm, with the first band taking the stage
at 8.30pm, and the club will run until 1am.

A minimum donation of £10 is
required for tickets, which will only be available on the door.
However, due to the intimate nature of the venue, fans are advised
to arrive early to avoid disappointment - and to be generous.
The gig is one of a number of small fundraising concerts that
have been organised by bands across the country in the wake of
the South Asia tsunami disaster, which has so far cost the lives
of over 150,000 people.
Long-View also confirmed that they have been approached to play
two benefit gigs, in Manchester and Southampton, while plans are
afoot for a massive, Live Aid-style benefit gig at the Millennium
Stadium in Cardiff on January 22, 2005.
