fecund Theatre presents Hello You, a sharp edged, fierce
and provocative drama, an innovative fusion of traditional theatre
with aural and visual technology, which will receive its world
premiere at Riverside Studios.
Staged as a film draft in a combination of fragmented narratives
with split images, digital imagery and multi-layered sound, a
series of seemingly unconnected events begin to accumulate and
interweave with one another to reveal brief moments of human strength,
humour, vulnerability and passion.

Greatly influenced by Robert Altman's Short Cuts and Michael
Haneke's Code Unknown, John Keates' exciting writing transports
the audience into the lives and ambitions of an amateur electric
guitar player, a freelance storyteller, a merchandiser from Sainsbury's
head office and a broadsheet European film critic.
fecund is an award-winning national theatre company, which over
the past eight years has been developing the fusion of aural and
visual technology to the traditional craft of theatre and performance
skills of an actor.
fecund has classified this period as an apprenticeship to its
art form. The delicate and magic fusion of technology, translated
in the sell-out run of Under Milk Wood, was a testimony
to fecund¹s defined and unique brand of theatre.
