THE FIFTH anniversary gala performance of The Night Of
1,000 Voices, takes place on May 1, 2005, at London's
Royal Albert Hall.
This year's concert will be hosted by Gloria Hunniford, with
proceeds going to the Caron Keating Foundation - the cancer support
charity set up in memory of Hunniford's daughter - and The Alan
Jay Lerner Fund for Cancer Research at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
Taking part in this celebration of musical theatre, will be Michael
Ball, Laura Michelle Kelly (Mary
Poppins), James Galway and 900 members of the Sing Live
(UK) choir.
They will be joined by Len Cariou, Brad Little, Patricia Nessy,
Caroline Sheen, Jill Paice, Tiffany Graves, Annette McLaughlin,
Terri Bibb, Kenneth Nichols, Kelli James and David Michael Johnson.

And bringing the concert to a close
with Miss You Nights, the favourite song of the late
Caron Keating, will be evergreen singer/actor, Sir Cliff Richard
(pictured).
As well as a tribute to Cy Coleman, a previous Night of 1000
Voices performer, the concert will feature numbers from Evita,
West Side Story, Carousel, Candide, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess,
Cats, The Lion King and others.
The concert's director, Hugh Wooldridge, said of the show: "This
concert is a must for all who love musicals. Come along and hear
the best performers in the world performing some of the greatest
songs. Come and join in the fun; come and raise the roof of the
Royal Albert Hall; come and raise funds for the Caron Keating
Foundation."
The Night Of 1000 Voices will be performed at 4pm and
8pm on Sunday, May 1, 2005.
