NOW in its 6th year, the shorts have proved to be a popular attraction
at the Union.
Started in 1997, to encourage new writing, the productions have
gone from strength to strength.
Young directors work closely alongside the playwrights, both
eager to enable each other to learn and discover from each other.
Add to the pot some new actors and hopefully an evening of good
drama is served.
This year, the Union Theatre premieres eight plays each, with
its own director and cast.
