Story: Jack Foley
FORMER Breakfast Club star, Molly Ringwald, is to take over from
Buffy: The Vampire slayer actress, Alyson Hannigan, in the West
End stage show, When Harry Met Sally.
Ringwald will take on the orgasmic part from June 2, when she
will be joined by Michael Landes, who will replace former Beverley
Hills 90210 star, Luke Perry.
Ringwald, 36, is best known as a high-profile member of the 80s
Brat Pack, during which she appeared in Pretty In Pink, as well
as The Breakfast Club.

However, she is no stranger to the stage, having won rave reviews
for her portrayal of Sally Bowles in a Broadway production of
Cabaret.
Landes wil appear as the new Harry, and will replace Perry on
the same date.
He is hitherto best known for his performances in TV shows such
as Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (in which he
played Jimmy Olsen), The Wonder Years, and The Fresh Prince of
Bel Air, as well as the films Hart's
War and Final
Destination 2.
When Harry Met Sally is a successful adaptation of the hit film,
which starred Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan.
It opened at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket, in February,
to largely positive reviews
and has played to packed audiences ever since.
The production is notable for being the latest to draw some of
Hollywoods brightest young talents, as well as for boasting
a score from jazz star, Jamie Cullum, and his brother, Ben.
