IndieLondon Video Jukebox: Josh Record covers Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness

JOSH Record, the travelling troubadour, has covered Lana Del Rey’s Summertime Sadness.
The track, which is accompanied by a video that Record has shot himself, has been put out in the same week that the singer has released his The War EP.
From the ghostly fade-out of lead track The War – with its staggering sense of space and depth – through the gospel flourishes peppering House and the shiver-inducing Skin, The War is an EP strapped with a resounding emotional heft but one also with its feet fixed firmly on the ground.
