Children's Autumn/Winter 2015 Season at the Lyric Hammersmith

THE LYRIC Hammersmith has announced its Children’s Programme for September to December 2015, which has been renamed Little Lyric.
The productions aimed at children between the ages of 2 and 11 will include dragons, trains, cats and puppetry and will culminate with Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas, which returns for its fourth year.
LISTINGS
Pinocchio – Saturday, September 12 at 11am and 1pm. Running time: 60 minutes. Ages 4 – 9.
Pinocchio comes to life on stage in this retelling of the classic tale with puppetry, shadows, illusion and specially composed music. It’s a story with a big heart.
Puss in Boots – Saturday, September 19 at 11am and 1pm. Running time: 60 minutes. Ages 4 – 7.
Would you trust a talking cat? This is a tale in which this sure-footed feline fools both the King and the Ogre to put his master at the top.
My Pet Monster and Me – Saturday, September 26 at 11am and 1pm. Running time: 60mins. Ages 3 – 7.
Sophie Bucket lives on a farm with her Dad. One day, she finds an egg. She keeps it warm, and out pops a cuddly, toothy, burpy, baby MONSTER. Told with magical songs, enchanting music and exquisite puppetry.
Ruby Flew Too! – Saturday, October 3 at 11am and 1pm. Running time: 60 minutes. Ages 2 – 7.
Once upon a time, upon a nest, there lived… Ruby. In this interactive and playful adventure, Ruby Flew Too! is brought to life using original music, hand-made puppets and delightful storytelling.
Arnold’s Big Adventure – Saturday, October 10 at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm. Running time: 40 minutes. Ages 3 – 10.
A unique, interactive show set in its very own custom-built bell tent telling the adventures of Arnold the acorn through incredible puppetry and live music… there may even be a smidgen of synchronised swimming.
The Dragon’s Tale – Saturday, October 17 at 11am and 1pm. Running time: 45 minutes. Ages 4 – 8.
An original take on George and the Dragon, told in flashback by the Dragon himself, accompanied by a very special Damsel in Distress on a hurdy-gurdy.
Olive & the Dream Train by Daniel Jamieson – Saturday, October 24 at 11am and 2pm. Running time: 60 minutes. Ages 5 – 11.
This is a rollercoaster ride through the mind-boggling mysteries of everyday life as nine year old Olive takes the wheel of her very own dream train.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears (October Half Term) – Tuesday, October 27 to Saturday, October 31 at 11am and 1pm. Running time: 55 minutes. Ages 2+.
They only went out for a stroll… to let the food cool down…ten minutes, tops. But when the three bears got home the house was a mess and Baby Bear’s porridge had vanished completely. And that was just the beginning! A brilliant mix of mischievous moments for everyone in the family.
The Boy Who Never Grew Up – Saturday, November 7 at 11am and 1pm. Running time: 55 minutes. Ages 4+.
Do you want to go to Neverland? A special adventure with music, puppetry and fun, this is a show of imagination and magic for anyone who wishes to never ever grow up.
Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas – Friday, November 20 to Thursday, December 24. For under 6s.
Join Santa as he awakes from a dream of sun, sea and sand only to find it is the busiest day of the year: Christmas Eve.
