WRITTEN by S. Asher Gelman and directed by Tom O’Brien, Afterglow will receive its UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse – from June 11 (previews from June 5) to July 20, 2019.

The London transfer follows a multiple-extended hit run Off-Broadway, where it sold more than 23,000 seats in a tiny 69-seat theatre and grossed over $1million.

Josh and Alex, a married couple in an open relationship, invite Darius to share their bed one night. When a new intimate connection begins to form, all three men must come head to head with one another’s notions of love, intimacy, and commitment.

Afterglow is produced by Adam Roebuck. The cast and full creative team will be announced in due course.

NB: Afterglow contains strong language and nudity and is therefore suitable for ages 16+.

Tickets: £22, £18 concessions. Previews (June 5 to June 10) all seats £14. To book, call the box office on 020 7407 0234 or visit southwarkplayhouse.co.uk/.

Times: Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Tuesday and Saturday matinees at 3pm.
