Denise Gough will reprise her role as Emma.

Previously posted: Casting has been announced for Duncan Macmillan’s People, Places and Things, a Headlong and National Theatre co-production, which runs in the Dorfman Theatre from September 1 (previews from August 25) to November 2, 2015.

The line up includes Denise Gough (as Emma), Barbara Marten (Doctor/Mum), Kevin McMonagle (Paul), Nathaniel Martello-White (Mark), Jacob James Beswick, Alastair Cope and Jacqui Dubois. Jeremy Herrin directs.

Emma was having the time of her life. Now she’s in rehab. Her first step is to admit that she has a problem. But the problem isn’t with Emma, it’s with everything else. She needs to tell the truth. But she’s smart enough to know that there’s no such thing. When intoxication feels like the only way to survive the modern world, how can she ever sober up?
