Richard Bean's Kiss Me transfers to Trafalgar Studios
Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle
FOLLOWING a sold out run at Hampstead Theatre Downstairs, Richard Bean’s Kiss Me is transferring to Trafalgar Studios where it runs from June 9 (previews from June 6) to July 8, 2017.
I’m thirty-two and I want a baby. There are no men.
A desperate woman. A chivalrous man. And a forbidden kiss that changes everything.
Richard Bean’s new play is described as a beautiful and unorthodox love story about two people struggling to escape the guilt and ghosts of the past, set against the shifting world of London post-World War I.
Bean’s other plays include One Man, Two Guvnors, Great Britain, Made in Dagenham and the sell-out hit The Nap, which starred Jack O’Connell.
Kiss Me is directed by Anna Ledwich, who will be returning to Trafalgar Studios following her Olivier Award nominated Hampstead Downstairs production of Four Minutes Twelve Seconds.
Casting will be announced in due course.
