Women Beware Women - Camden People's theatre

Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle

ACTION To The Word Theatre (A Clockwork Orange) are premiering their new adaptation of Thomas Middleton’s classic blood-tragedy, Women Beware Women, at Camden People’s Theatre – from June 27 to July 8, 2017.

A vicious deconstruction of sex and love, this Florentine cavalcade of opulence and depravity boasts a powerhouse actor-musician cast and is Action To The Word’s first new-graduates show marking their relationship with LIPA.

Also, for the first time in their theatrical practice, every element of the set and costume design has been recycled from found goods.

Women Beware Women is directed by Alexandra Spencer-Jones, Artistic Director of Action To The Word Theatre. She is an award-winning director and writer who alongside directing the company’s body of work is also the director of the world tour of Gobsmacked! (Southbank Udderbelly).

Tickets: £13 (all) – available from the box office on 020 7419 4841 or online at www.cptheatre.co.uk/.

Times: 7.30pm, with Saturday matinees at 3pm.
