The current cast is led by Peter Murphy (as Galileo) and Sabrina Aloueche (Scaramouche).

Previously Posted: From September 22, 2008, Rachel Tucker, a semi-finalist in BBC’s I’d Do Anything, will star as Meat in the hit Queen musical We Will Rock You at London’s Dominion Theatre.

Of the final twelve competing for the role of Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh’s forthcoming revival of Oliver!, Tucker was the ninth to leave the show.

Prior to I’d Do Anything, she had already appeared professionally on stage in Rod Stewart’s Tonight’s the Night (West End), as well as Rent, The Wizard of Oz and The Full Monty.

Written and directed by Ben Elton, We Will Rock You premiered in April 2002 and although the majority of critics hated it, the public loved it. So much so, in fact, that it has become the longest-running show in the history of the Dominion Theatre. To date it has been seen by more than two million people. Productions of the musical have also opened in Australia, Spain, Russia, America, Japan and Germany.

The action takes place in a futuristic world where rock music is banned. There are, however, those who believe there was once a Golden Age of music. The show features 32 of Queen’s greatest hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Under Pressure, Radio Gaga and, of course, the title song We Will Rock You.
