Story by Jack Foley

LIAM Neeson is to reprise his role as Zeus in the forthcoming Clash of The Titans sequel.

In an interview with The Belfast Telegraph the actor said that he was “very much looking forward” to the follow-up, and promised there would be some “kick-ass stuff”.

Production is due to begin in March 2011 on the sequel, which will also have “a very human story to it”, according to Neeson based on what he had observed from reading half the script.

In addition to Neeson’s return, Sam Worthington (Perseus), Gemma Arterton (Io) and Ralph Fiennes (Hades) are also attached to the project, with James Franco also reportedly in talks to play Poseidon’s son.

A release date of Spring 2012 has also been pencilled in.
