Tom Cruise pondering One Shot offer
Story by Jack Foley
TOM Cruise is reportedly pondering over whether to star in an adaptation of the thriller One Shot for Paramount Pictures.
The film would be directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who has adapted the 2005 Lee Child novel for the screen, and who has worked with Cruise on several projects in the past (including Valkyrie).
The book follows an ex-Army cop named Reacher as he gets sucked into a mystery surrounding the arrest of a sniper accused of killing five random people in a shooting.
Cruise is currently filming Rock of Ages for Warner Bros. and has Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol arriving in December.
He is also attached to star in Universal’s Oblivion.
