FASHION model and actor Arron Blake will star as Tarquin Brockhutch in Fashion Victim – The Musical!, which is being staged in a specially created catwalk arena inside The Cinema Museum – from Saturday, June 21 to Sunday, July 6, 2014.

Launched in 2013 as a pilot pop-up theatre event to coincide with London Fashion Week, Fashion Victim – The Musical! is written by Toby Rose and has songs by Right Said Fred.

According to press material, Fashion Victim – The Musical! is a must-see for all front row fashionistas in the making… and audiences are actively encouraged to boo, hiss or cheer – as they see fit – the effrontery of Mimi Steele in a story of laughs, love and sharp practices in the cutting edge world of fashion.

Model and actress Camilla Rutherford is also confirmed as the first of a series of celebrities making cameo apearances in the show.

Writer Toby Rose is the creator of Discotivity, which premiered at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe, starring Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus. Rose is also the brains behind the annual Palm Dog Awards at Cannes Film Festival.

Fashion Victim – The Musical! will be directed by Robert McWhir, Artistic Director of the Landor Theatre, whose recent acclaimed shows include I Love You Because, Curtains and Ragtime.

The production will be choreographed by Ryan Jenkins (BBC1’s So You Think You Can Dance) and have musical direction by Michael Webborn, costume design by Deborah Andrew and lighting design by Richard Lambert.
