Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle

ARTURO Brachetti, the Italian cabaret legend and quick-change artist who is best known for his award-winning signature piece A Man with a Thousand Faces, is bringing his new one-man show to London’s West End.

Entitled Arturo Brachetti – Change, it will run at the Garrick theatre for a limited season – from October 26, 2009 (previews from October 19) to January 3, 2010.

During the course of the show, which is written and directed by The Right Size’s Sean Foley, Brachetti brings over 100 characters to the stage, from James Bond to the Queen via Johnny Rotten, in a series of astonishing quick change impressions.

Arturo Brachetti – Change also contains magic, illusions, comedy and anecdotes from Brachetti’s illustrious career.

Created in 1999, Brachetti’s A Man with a Thousand Faces has been seen by over 1,250,000 people around the world and has won the Molière Award in Paris and Quebec’s Olivier Award.

As one half of comedy double act The Right Size, Sean Foley’s work includes Do You Come Here Often? and the Morecambe and Wise tribute show The Play What I Wrote, both of which won Olivier Awards. Since The Right Size, Foley’s directing credits have included Pinter’s People and Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress.
