Crazy For You transfers to the Novello Theatre

THE REGENT’S Park Open Air production of Crazy For You will transfer to the Novello Theatre, where it runs from October 8, 2011 to July 28, 2012.
Sent by his wealthy mother to close the run-down Gaiety Theatre, aspiring actor Bobby Child falls for theatre manager’s daughter, Polly Baker.
With book by Ken Ludwig and music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin, Crazy For You includes classic numbers such as I Got Rhythm, Someone To Watch Over Me, Embraceable You and Nice Work If You Can Get It.
The entire company of the Regent’s Park production will reprise their roles in the West End, including Harriet Thorpe (as Lottie Child/Patricia Fodor), David Burt (Bela Zangler), Broadway performer Sean Palmer (Bobby Child), Clare Foster (Polly Baker), Kim Medcalf (Irene Roth) and Michael McKell (Lank Hawkins).
The original 1992 production of Crazy For You won both Tony and Olivier Awards for Best New Musical.
Betty Blue Eyes continues at the Novello Theatre until September 24, 2011.
