Nina Conti announces her debut West End show
Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle
ON MONDAY, November 30, 2015, Nina Conti will be making her West End debut at the Lyric Theatre with her show Nina Conti: In Your Face.
As well as seeing Conti’s exceptionably entertaining take on ventriloquism, audiences will experience the rare treat of an entirely unique, one-off performance – because In Your Face is almost entirely improvised.
With the help of Monkey and a bag of tricks, truly anything can happen in what is described as ‘an unmissable improvised adventure of hilarious witchery’.
Conti really needs no introduction, having won a British Comedy Award, stormed Live at the Apollo, appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News and Sunday Night at the Palladium, and made a BAFTA nominated film – all without even moving her lips.
Tickets are on sale now and details can be found online at www.nimaxtheatres.com/ or by phoning 0844 482 9674.
Time: 7:30pm.
As well as playing a full run at the Edinburgh Festival, Nina Conti: In Your Face will tour the UK this autumn. For dates and venues visit www.ninaconti.net/live.
The Lyric Theatre is currently home to Thriller Live.
