Balloon launch and set visit competition to mark Harry Potter DVD release

Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince

Story by Jack Foley

WARNER Home Video UK is proud to announce the launch of 1,000 balloons on Thursday, September 24, 2009 to herald the launch of pre-orders for the Blu-ray and DVD release of Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince.

The launch will be done from the Millennium Bridge in London by Harry Potter stars Evanna Lynch (aka Luna Lovegood) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom).

To mark such an eagerly awaited date for the diary, Warner Home Video UK will be offering one lucky winner a once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit the Harry Potter film set and the opportunity to take part in a special filming experience!

Each balloon released will have a card attached featuring a unique code that will entitle the holder to register online at www.warnerbros.co.uk/harrypotterballoon between October 1, 2009 and December 4, 2009 for entry into the grand prize draw.

The grand prize draw will take place on December 7, 2009 – being the date on which Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince is released on Blu-ray and DVD.

The first prize winner will embark on a tour of the Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows film set before they head off to make-up and wardrobe.

They will then step on to a set for a unique and exciting filming experience, where they will be filmed in the role of one of the magical framed “moving” portrait characters that have adorned the walls of Hogwarts in all of the Harry PotterTM films.

Fifty runners-up will also each win a pack of Harry Potter™ lenticular cards.

Entry is open to United Kingdom residents aged 18 and over. If necessary, a second chance prize draw will be held on January 4,10 in order to distribute any remaining or unclaimed prizes.

Visit ww.warnerbros.co.uk/harrypotterballoon for details of how to enter the second chance prize draw (no unique code required).

Full prize draw terms and conditions also available at www.warnerbros.co.uk/harrypotterballoon from October 1, 2009.
